Sheila P. Appel Library for Jewish Art
The Sheila P. Appel Library for Jewish Art at the
International Center for the Study of European Jewish
Art and Art of the Holocaust was established in 2015
in memory of Sheila P. Appel, a righteous woman who
cherished her Jewish heritage and who taught her
daughter Ronit, the Center’s Director, to love her
Jewish heritage.

The Library is home to an important collection of
books on Jewish art and art of the Holocaust and is an
integral part of the Center's resources. The Library
enables the Center to continue its mission of
educating the public about European Jewish art and art
of the Holocaust.
